Altshuler Berzon LLP Welcomes Amanda Lynch as Partner

Altshuler Berzon is delighted to announce that Amanda Lynch, who has worked at the firm since 2018, has become a Partner effective January 1, 2025.

Amanda’s practice focuses primarily on representing workers, labor unions, and other public interest organizations in civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels, including in matters of employment, civil rights, and constitutional law. She has fought to enforce wage-and-hour laws, as well as California and local sick leave laws. She was part of a legal team that reached a settlement providing programmatic relief benefiting thousands of unemployment insurance claimants. She also represents individuals currently and formerly incarcerated in Alabama, along with three organizations, who are suing Alabama state officials and numerous public and private employers regarding the coercion of incarcerated workers’ labor. In addition, Amanda advises labor unions on contract interpretation and employment law matters, engages in collective bargaining and arbitration of grievances, and represents unions in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.

Amanda is a graduate of Yale Law School and Harvard College. Before joining Altshuler Berzon LPP, Amanda clerked for Hon. Marsha S. Berzon on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and Hon. Vince G. Chhabria on the District Court for the Northern District of California.

Altshuler Berzon LLP is thrilled to have Amanda join our partnership.
