Bronwen’s practice focuses on representing workers, labor unions, and community organizations in civil litigation, including in matters of employment, civil rights, consumer protection, and constitutional law.

While in law school, Bronwen participated in the Pro Bono Scholars Program, spending her final semester providing full-time pro bono services to two New York advocacy organizations involved in a joint campaign against forced arbitration. She also published a student note in the NYU Law Review, where she was an Online Editor; worked as a research assistant for a professor; and participated in the NYU Environmental Law Clinic.

Before law school, Bronwen spent three years teaching third grade in Oklahoma City Public Schools.

Representative matters:

  • With colleagues and co-counsel, helped secure settlement of California FAIR MAPS Act claim that commits Riverside County to fund voter outreach and education targeted at low voter turnout areas, provide Spanish-language translation and interpretation of Board of Supervisors and Registrar of Voters documents and meetings, and other relief to expand access to political participation for historically underrepresented communities.
  • Successfully helped defend public-sector unions against claims challenging the deduction of union membership dues pursuant to signed union membership agreements.
  • Advises labor unions on contract interpretation and employment law matters.
